U.S. 少数民族研究

The study of cultural differences that influence the exchange of meaning between individuals 和 groups of different cultural 和/or racial backgrounds. The course is designed to provide students with an underst和ing of the uniqueness of cultures 和 the resulting variations in communication styles 和 preferences, 和 to provide 策略 和 skills for successfully communicating across cultural barriers. Students will spend at least 20 hours during the semester working with community agencies serving clients from different cultures.
